In Episode 22 you will meet children’s picture book author Ellen Ramsey from Pennsylvania. Her love of reading and writing led her to careers as a teacher, a technical editor, and an author of stories for children.
Evenings and weekends, she writes and revises humorous picture books, poems, and stories as well as nonfiction articles. Like many authors, she writes about what she knows and loves which includes books and bears, bees and butterflies, dogs and dragons, and libraries and bookstores.
Her award-wining first book is titled “A Book for Bear” and it was selected by Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library free book gifting program for kids up to five years old.
